    Ankita “Kiya” Perry is a visiting fellow and a deputy director of the Hoover Institution's National Security Reform Commission. She served for nearly two decades at the CIA in analytic, corporate, and leadership roles. She has a bachelor's degree in public policy studies and English from Duke University and a master's degree in international affairs from The George Washington University.

About

Ankita “Kiya” Perry is a visiting fellow and a deputy director of the Hoover Institution's National Security Reform Commission under the Economic and Security Commons initiative. She brings nearly two decades of experience as an analyst and leader at the CIA, where she led teams on a range of crisis issues from counterterrorism to Middle East conflict. She also served in overseas liaison roles relating to great power conflict and in corporate roles overseeing intelligence analysis support to the White House and national security decision makers. She departed federal service in 2025 to join Red Cell Partners, a venture incubation studio, where she served as the head of operations for a supply chain analytics start-up company.

Perry earned a bachelor's degree in public policy studies and English literature from Duke University and a master's degree in international affairs from The George Washington University.
