Stanford, CA — The Hoover Institution is pleased to announce that three of its podcast productions have been named finalists in the Fifth Annual Signal Awards. Judged by a distinguished panel of podcast hosts, producers, and other industry professionals, the Signal Awards recognize “the podcasts that define culture.”

The Hoover Institution’s 2026 Signal Award finalists are:

Audiences can vote for each of Hoover’s finalists to receive a Listener’s Choice Award. All three productions also remain in consideration for Bronze, Silver, and Gold Signal Awards, selected by the Signal Awards judges.

“We are thrilled to see three very different Hoover productions recognized by the Signal Awards,” said Chief Creative Officer Shana Farley. “Each reflects what we are trying to do across our programming: bring exceptional people and consequential ideas to audiences in ways that are engaging, accessible, and worth spending time with. We hope listeners and viewers who value these programs will show their support in the Listener’s Choice voting.”

The three nominations reflect the range of Hoover’s growing audio and video programming—from conversations about leadership, innovation, and the American experience on Only in America, hosted by Hoover Institution Director Condoleezza Rice, to Peter Robinson’s in-depth interviews with leading thinkers and public figures on Uncommon Knowledge, to the distinctive mix of history, national security, economics, and current affairs that has made GoodFellows one of Hoover’s signature programs.

Hosted by Hoover Senior Fellows Niall Ferguson, H.R. McMaster, and John H. Cochrane and moderated by Distinguished Policy Fellow Bill Whalen, GoodFellows brings together decades of experience across history, national security, economics, public policy, and journalism to examine the major issues shaping the United States and the world.

Voting for the Listener’s Choice Awards is open now through October 15, 2026.
